Live chats? Never. They run peer-to-peer over WebRTC, straight from you to your chat partner — past us, so we can't see or read a thing. If you enable offline messages, those are stored temporarily on our servers so your messages actually reach the recipient — but they're end-to-end encrypted with your keys, so even we can't read them. They disappear automatically after six days.

Photos and videos you share go straight to your chat partner and aren't stored anywhere on our end. Anything you record or pick stays local in your browser. Offline media? Same deal — encrypted before it ever touches our servers.

We only keep the bare minimum on our servers — age, preferences and basic matching criteria plus your IP address. Your profile description, photos and personal details stay local in your browser.

Sure. guypr is fully responsive and feels right at home on your phone. Camera, messaging and video calls — everything works straight from your mobile browser.

In incognito mode your data gets wiped automatically. In normal mode you can clear the stored data in your browser settings or just hit the delete button at the bottom of the page. Heads-up: your user ID and IP address may be kept for up to 6 months to support law enforcement requests.

Just click the user's profile picture in chat. In the profile view you'll find a report button. Important: since we use P2P and don't store live messages, we can't review them either. For a serious violation, please contact the relevant authority and provide the reported user ID. On request we can share the stored metadata so the user can be identified.

Since chats on guypr use direct P2P connections between two partners, there is technically a possibility that your chat partner could discover your IP address. The 'Enhanced Security' feature prevents this by routing your connection through a relay server. This further increases your anonymity — though the connection setup may be slightly delayed. We recommend enabling 'Enhanced Security' for all users living in countries where homosexuality is persecuted.
